Pharmacist in Charge Development Opportunity

Location: Southwest Sydney Role: Pharmacist (Permanent Full-Time)

The Position: Leadership and Care

This role offers an accelerated opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacist to step into a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) leadership pathway.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing medications and delivering expert health advice.
• Ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Assuming accountability for operational efficiency, team direction, and full legislative/professional compliance within the pharmacy.
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Driving continuous improvement and upholding Penna’s high standards and procedures.

Role Details:

• Permanent Full-Time Role – 38 hours per week

About You: The Future Leader

We are specifically seeking a Recently Registered Pharmacist (0-2 years experience post-internship) ready to take on this challenge.

• You hold current, full registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist.
• You’re passionate about community pharmacy and highly motivated to drive and lead an energetic Pharmacy team.
• You are eager to expand your skills to include operational management and compliance oversight.
• You’re driven to make a meaningful impact in your community, supporting both your customers and your team.
• While experience in community pharmacy is ideal, the most critical factor is your enthusiasm, readiness to take accountability, and willingness to learn leadership.
